Anna Deyss, LMHCAssistant Clinical Director/Therapist
Anna (Durbin) Deyss (she/they) grew up in Bethalto, Illinois, just east of St. Louis, Missouri. She moved to Evansville in 1999 to attend the University of Evansville and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2003 and an associated studies in art. Anna had a clear idea of what she wanted to do, but it took some time to get around to it. She obtained her Masters of Art in Art Therapy from Saint-Mary-of-the-Woods College in 2011. Anna passed the Licensed Mental Health Exam in 2015. Working for a variety of community agencies over her time as a therapist, Anna has experience with a variety of populations and diagnoses.

Anna is an art therapist who enjoys working with ages 12 and up and utilizing primarily Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as her modality. She has developed a specialty in trauma, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and dissociation but is comfortable working with a variety of diagnoses and issues. Anna also trained in Parts Work, Motivational Interviewing and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
On her days off, Anna spends time with her husband and kids. She enjoys cooking, arts and crafts, playing video games and watching way too much TV. Anna also has a Chihuahua Pug mix named Lyle who is her shadow at home and often accompanies her to work.
